Linksys releases new wireless / voice gear

Linksys is releasing new 802.11a/g products geared to do VoIP.  Linksys is releasing the PAP2 (Phone Adapter with 2 Phone Ports) to allow companies like Verizon and others to offer VoIP service using your regular phones.  Linksys is also offering a new 802.11g Wireless-G Internet Video Camera that will yield smoother images.

Plantronics offers USB wireless headset

Plantronics wants to change that with its wireless CS50-USB headset, which offers up to 200 feet of coverage between the headset and the base station. The base station connects to a PC's USB port. The headset includes PerSonoCall software, which provides answer/end and ring-detection features for most major softphones, Plantronics says. The CS50-USB is scheduled to be available in December and will cost about $300.
